Malúa’s love for hardstyle began when she got the Qlimax 2002 CD as a gift. Years later, she went to her first hardstyle festival: Defqon.1. 2006. From that moment on, she visited many hardstyle festivals and parties. In 2012, she started mixing and putting these mixes online. After a few months this lead to a request: to play at Defqon.1 2013. Exactly seven years after visiting her first hardstyl…e festival, she played at the Defqon.1 afterparty, in the Q-dance radio area.

After that performance more bookings came along, such as Sequence, Dangerouzmind, Focus, Bass Academy, Shock & Restylerz. Besides that, she hosts a series of hardstyle events at Feu, Drachten. These events go by the name Malúa presents: Volume, of which the 4th edition will be announced very soon! Her first track is a collab with the one and only High Voltage. The title hasn’t been announced yet but the track already got support from several DJ’s and got played at Hard Bass and Qapital!
