Thousands of visitors enjoyed the harder styles during Qlimax last Saturday. A selection of the biggest names appeared on the tremendous stage in a sold-out GelreDome. Next to the music, Q-dance really went out of their way on the fascinating and much appreciated show. Especially the moment that Headhunterz & Wildstylez appeared on the stage together will remembered as a memorable moment in history of Hardstyle.

Project One began eight years ago. Many say that they are responsible for the best hardstyle album in history. A number of visitors of Qlimax had never seen the duo on stage before. Others longed for their return.  The last performance of Project One dated from 2013 during X-Qlusive Wildstylez as a guest appearance.

The new chapter started with the announcement of Q-dance on the 15th of September with the quote: ”Nothing is as powerful as an idea whose time has come.” People started to get enthusiastic after this statement. The more the event approached, the more tension it brought with it. It finally happened the 19th of November.

”Release… Project One”
After which a thunderous applause burst. Everyone knew what time it was. Headhunterz & Wildstylez appeared on stage all dressed up with their matching and iconic blindfolds. The complete show was worked out down to the last detail just like we can expect from Q-dance.

Multiple edits of their old album tracks were played during their set. The old tracks were received with loud acclamation and the crowd sang along with the tracks. It was visible that they’ve been working hard on designing the light show. It all fitted perfectly with the music.

Next to the edits, there was enough room for new tracks. The guys of Sound Rush made a remix of the track ‘Project One’ and Headhunterz & Wildstylez played three new tracks of Project One. One of the those tracks was recognizable for some because of the new vlog of Headhunterz called Vlogs From Within. The new tracks seemed to be received very well by the crowd.

The new music is promosing. The duo hinted at SLAM! that there might be another performance and that they will see where it all will end. Next to that, it seems unlikely that they would play their new tracks only once. Perhaps that they will come with a new album. We will remain hopeful. Headhunterz atleast told us: “It’s time to write a great sequel!”
