The last couple of weeks the world is revolving around the coronavirus. Today countless of artists and organisations made a joined statement regarding the virus: #SavetheSummer.

By now the measures that are being taken to fight the coronavirus are very serious. In the Netherlands, events with 100+ visitors have been cancelled, the hospitality industry is closed and it is advised to stay home as much as possible. Today, countless of artists and organisaties shared a message regarding the virus, in order to try to save the 2020 summer.

“Taking care of yourself and your loved ones is taking care of the future. Stay at home, wash your hands, keep your distance from one another and follow your local government’s instructions carefully. Act now! Only together we can ensure a summer full of music, entertainment, travel, sports and friendship.”

Harder styles community committed to #SavetheSummer

The most important measures you can take to prevent the spread of the coronavirus are straightforward, says RIVM. These measures apply to all viruses that can cause flu and colds. It is always important to follow up these basic hygiene measures:

  • Wash your hands with soap regularly
  • Cough and sneeze on the inside of your elbow
  • Use paper handkerchiefs
