Bouncy uptempo event Annihilation returns to Maassilo for its third edition

Uptempo fans have probably heard of Annihilation. The next edition is scheduled for Saturday, February 24, 2024, and some of the biggest names in uptempo hardcore can be found on the line-up. “With an unparalleled atmosphere, the roof has been completely blown off for two editions now, and the next edition will also be one for the books.”

After a first sold-out edition in Club Rodenburg in Beesd, Annihilation has moved to a larger location: the Maassilo in hardcore capital Rotterdam. The event focuses on a popular subgenre within uptempo, better known as ‘Bouncy’ uptempo.

Even though Annihilation is a fairly new concept, it is growing rapidly. The concept was specially created for uptempo die-hards who don’t like high pitched kicks. The response shows that this is a gap in the market – so far every edition has received rave reviews from the audience, and the events are completely selling out.

Big uptempo names on Annihilation

For the upcoming edition, a lot has been done with not one, but two areas full of acts such as Spitnoise vs. Rosbeek, Barber vs. Satirized and the brand new act ‘GSRP LIVE’ from Akimbo, Eraized and Aalst. In addition, the organization believes it is important to also give emerging talents a chance. The full Annihilation line-up can be found below:

Due to the success of the past Annihilation parties, other big plans such as an outdoor edition are already in the works. “Our goal is to become the largest bouncy uptempo party in the world. We are well on our way!”
