In an interview with Hardstyle.com, D-Block & S-te-Fan say that they have been really looking forward to the release of ‘Kamikaze‘. The track, which focuses on the combination of musical and energetic, contains several elements in terms of energy level, according to the duo. “It’s really a rollercoaster going through the track. This is a signature for DBSTF.”

D-Block & S-te-Fan: “We immediately hit on the melody of Kamikaze”

A collaboration with Diandra Faye was sought for this long-awaited track. The Dutch DJ duo had some doubts about whether they wanted to use the word ‘kamikaze’ as the starting point of the song, but once in the studio it felt right. Normally D-Block & S-te-Fan write their lyrics themselves, but for ‘Kamikaze‘ the duo made an exception. “We received this top line from Diandra and we immediately hit the melody. That is such a great feeling, and especially the change in the second part gives it such a nice touch… Wonderful!”

The track has been a hit from the first moment it was played. Some DBSTF fans are already calling ‘Kamikaze‘ a contender for the title of ‘track of the year’. A great honor, say D-Block & S-te-Fan. “We are very happy with the track and especially like the fact that we can still reach a large audience with our own style. But we also hope that there will be a lot of competition to fill the top spots in the lists. That means that a lot of good music is being made, and that is the very best for hardstyle itself!”

‘Kamikaze’ by D-Block & S-te-Fan can now be streamed via all your favorite streaming channels and downloaded via Hardstyle.com.
