D-Sturb, Rebelion and Sub Zero Project voted most popular artists of 2023

The moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally here. You have voted in large numbers for the Hardstyle Awards and now it is time to announce the first results. The votes and available data from Hardstyle.com show that D-Sturb, Rebelion and Sub Zero Project can call themselves the most popular artists of 2023.

Hard News & Hardstyle.com proudly present the first independent Hardstyle election, based on data and your votes. A huge number of votes came in last week – and we want to thank you for that! Hard News and Hardstyle.com have counted all the votes, and based on those votes and the available data, three artists stand out as contenders for the prestigious ‘Best Artist’ award of 2023: D-Sturb, Rebelion and Sub Zero Project.

The nominees for ‘Best Artist’ are…

D-Sturb introduced us to his playgrounds last year. He has been on the biggest stages with his six Welcome To My Playground-shows, each live show accompanied by a track and exclusive merchandise. His REBELLiON-set, announcing that he will host next year’s Sunday of REBiRTH, appeared on YouTube within six hours. Was 2023 the year of D-Sturb?

With their live act The Second Dose, Rebelion conquered the main stages of the largest festivals and indoor events last year, leaving a big impression. They even managed to collect 1 million Spotify streams in one day with the accompanying album. Rebelion took the prize for best artist last year, will they manage to claim this prize two years in a row?

It was a year full of highlights for Sub Zero Project. Think of the recent release of a track with Showtek, selling out their own All For One-event at the Mitsubishi Electric Halle in Düsseldorf, and wowing the crowd with their Bad Trip Live at Supremacy. Would these achievements earn them the title of ‘Best Artist’ of 2023?
