Distortion, the new project of Neroz and Insidiouz

In the past few months Neroz and Swedish producer Insidiouz locked themselves up in the studio for their new live-act: Distortion. At the start of this year Neroz took a new step in his carrier and released two new tracks on Heart for Hard’s sub label Indus3:’Machinegun‘ & ‘Ready For Raw‘. Within this label he met Insidiouz, known for his tracks like ‘Warchief‘, ‘Chainsaw‘ and his recent collaboration with Regain called ‘No Survivors‘.

Distortion

Neroz and Insidiouz maintained good contact since they met and there was a click. That’s why they decided to join forces in a new project: Distortion. With this new project, Neroz and Insidiouz will launch a trilogy containing three EPs and a brand new live-act. The focus lies on delivering new music and you might have already heard the first track of the new formation during the past few weeks.

Xplode

During Loudness, Insidiouz premiered the project’s title track ‘Distortion’. Ever since then the duo has greatly increased their arsenal with new tracks and live edits. Powerful melodies, fierce kicks & experimenting with new sounds are part of their formula within this project. Today they announced the first Distortion live performance will be on the 20th of May at Xplode Outdoor in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands.

Musical connection

In an earlier conversation with Hard News, Neroz and Insidiouz already told more about their project. “We noticed very quickly that there was a good connection between us in the area of music production. Recently we also played together at a tour in Barcelona and that worked out very well. We both have the mind-set to produce something new & experimental in music.” After asking if we could expect new material soon, an answer quickly followed. “In the following weeks a 3-tracker release will be launched. During the live-act you can also expect edits of some of our older solo tracks, with a new ‘Distortion’ style. It will be heavy! We cannot wait to showcase our work on the 20th of May.
