Dual Damage is perhaps the most talked about duo in hardstyle this festival season. In a new episode of PLAFONDDIENST, the two look back on the gigantic express train they are on, the atmospheric dancefloors of REBiRTH and Intents and the big plans they are having: “Many new things are coming.”

The row of performances of Dual Damage has gone extremely fast in a year. Just over a year ago they were still in a local pub in Schijndel and in the third area of the Time-Out, but when Thijs and Jesper went viral on TikTok, things suddenly went very fast. “Actually quite scary when you see what social media can do”, the men tell in PLAFONDDIENST.

“What’s on the rider from Dual Damage?”

Did you know that Thijs from Dual Damage has worked with polyvinyl chloride for years? Now it’s really ‘clunking’, because the DJ duo causes massive population movements at the festivals. With their PVC kicks and more than 100,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, one mainstage after the other is now being announced: the two will be performing at Elektrum, REBELLiON and Gearbox – Pole Position at the Ziggo Dome in the near future.

“It’s important to keep producing records, but soon you’ll hear more about that,” Dual Damage tells mysteriously in the hardstyle podcast. How did they get together, how do they deal with criticism and what’s on their rider? Check out the new episode of PLAFONDDIENST now on your favorite podcast platform.
