These municipalities did some tests for the noise pollution. Following these tests the surrounding villages Nunspeet, Oldebroek and Elburg experience a lot of nuisance. “A good night rest is important, especially during such an event if you have to go to work after the weekend”, so said the board of Nunspeet in a lettre. More municipalities want a open discussion about the end time of festivals like Defqon.1 and Lowlands.

Less bass at Defqon.1?

Not only the end times of the festivals will be questioned during this discussion. The loud bass of these events will be discussed as well. This month the municipalities of Nunspeet, Oldebroek, Elburg and Dronten will meet about these complains. Click here for the full article of De Stentor. (Only in Dutch)
