The 2014 edition of Qlimax had the theme ‘The Source Code of Creation’. When the stage had been revealed, many people tried to speculate where the design came from. Suddenly we received a picture from someone that blew us away instantly. It was a drawing, made by Alex Grey, who is an American artist specializing in spiritual and psychedelic art.

This particular work is called ‘Oversoul’. The following quote has been placed below the painting on his website:
“I saw that the universe is not composed of dead matter, but is, on the contrary, a living Presence; I became conscious in myself of eternal life . . . I saw that everyone is immortal; that the cosmic order is such that . . . all things work together for the good of each and all; that the foundation principle of the world, of all the worlds, is what we call love, and that the happiness of each and all is in the long run absolutely certain.”
