MC DV8 is the first Hardstyle artist ever named Prince Carnival
Hardstyle and Carnival have been going hand in hand for years, resulting in a large number of beautiful events and stage acts. In the musical landscape, the fusion between these two worlds has now even grown into a genre in its own right. But we didn’t know a hardstyle artist who was officially proclaimed as Prince Carnival yet.

Until this very weekend, because in his hometown of Milheeze, MC DV8 was announced on Saturday as the 60th prince of Carnival Association De Veenmollen. Besides hosting the biggest international events, his membership as one of the Donkey Rollers and his more serious hardstyle tracks, Peter is not averse to a fun carnival related stuff. In 2018 for example, he was responsible for the party stunner ‘Vreet Spirit’ together with Zany, which even received great support from Armin van Buuren himself.

Two years later, the duo scored the party style hit ‘Raven is Leven’ together with Wilbert ‘De Toreador’ Pigmans. Add to that the iconic Power Hour left-right moments of Defqon.1 and you can’t escape it: this season it will be a banging carnival in Milheeze.
