Sefa has been followed for months in his preparations to capture his biggest performance ever. When the only 22-year-old artist was asked to open Defqon.1’s magical RED with a show, he didn’t hesitate for a moment. It would be a musical spectacle for tens of thousands of fans at the largest harder styles festival in the world.

It is a full-length documentary about dozens of musicians who, on their way to the big moment, are in conflict between various organisational decisions and a huge release of energy on the holy ground of Biddinghuizen. Sefa: Road to Defqon.1 is a never-before-seen journey to the memorable Friday – which you don’t want to miss during a one-time-only experience in the cinema.
