Tomorrowland is the most famous EDM festival in the world. What not everyone knows, is that there’s not only a summer and sunshine edition, but also a Tomorrowland Winter festival, literally on the Alps surrounded by snow. Q-dance will be part of it again. “Prepare for a frozen chapter in one of the most legendary tales ever told at Tomorrowland: The Book of Wisdom.”

From 14th until 21st March 2020, Tomorrowland Winter happens for the second time ever. “Snow ravers, get ready for a new adventure! After a great first edition last year, we’ll return to Alpe d’Huez, France with a Q-dance Take Over”, Q-dance just posted on its socials. Tomorrowland even revealed the first wave of headliners. Four hardstyle DJs are on the line-up until now: Da Tweekaz, Coone, Sound Rush and Ran-D.

During this week in March, the whole Alpe d’Huez France is only reserved for the Tomorrowland visitors. The winter variant of the famous EDM festival is smaller and not as famous as the original one, but after only one edition already highly prestigious. The world’s biggest DJs, like Afrojack, Armin van Buuren and Martin Garrix, play there. This year, Q-dance will be one of ten hosts.

Instead of the familiar festival terrain, the stages are spread over a mountain covered in snow, the french Alpe d’Huez. And instead of seeing everyone dressed in shorts and tops like usually, it’s quite funny when everyone wears ski outfits.

An unusual experience “filled with snow, music and magic”

Since a ski pass is included in the festival ticket, visitors may go skiing or snowboarding, before they head over to the party. Or join a set for some time and then move forward, as you can pass by every stage during your way on the slopes. Last year, Tomorrowland created a game for the skiers to collect ‘stamps’ from every TML stage spread over the mountain. Obviously there’ll be no camping ground, Tomorrowland’s guests will be accommodated in apartments and hotels of several villages.

In the very first edition of Tomorrowland Winter last year, 116 artists were playing and 30 000 visitors from around 100 different countries came to the event. Code Black, Wildstylez, Sub Zero Project and Villain performed there.

Tomorrowland Winter: The Book of Wisdom

With Q-dance as an official stage host and Da Tweekaz, Sound Rush, Coone and Ran-D being announced already in the first release, it’s possible there will follow more harder styles artists. The full line-up of The Frozen Chapter of The Book of Wisdom is soon to be revealed.

7-day packages are already available. The sale of the 4-day packages start on 21st September at 17:00 CEST. For tickets and more information, visit the official Tomorrowland website.
