Serzo makes Scandinavia proud with Hardstyle DNA anthem: “Biggest show ever in Norway”

The talented Serzo underlines the explosive growth in Scandinavia, where hardstyle reaches incredible heights. His anthem for Hardstyle DNA (the largest festival in the region with a bizarrely extensive line-up) proves that the hard musical blood flows through the veins of the Nordic countries – on the eve of an extensive festival weekend. “It’s in your DNA.”

The ambitious Hardstyle DNA is extremely driven and they took the enormous step of organizing a ‘festival according to Dutch standards’ for the first time in Northern Europe last year. Just like the scene in Norway, the party is growing even further this time, because at the beginning of May you will find various stages here for two days. With the biggest names in Hardstyle, RAW and Uptempo at a beautiful location just outside Oslo. “We look forward to offering a stage with 160+ BPM to the Norwegian audience.”

Hardstyle DNA always gives Scandinavian artists a big stage

In the 15 years that the Hardstyle DNA organization has existed, it has always been a flag bearer for the Scandinavian scene. Norwegian artists such as Da Tweekaz and Refuzion were early on given the honor of providing the anthem and this year Serzo is seizing this opportunity with both hands. “⁠It feels great to be the creator of the anthem,” says the 24-year-old Dirty Workz artist. “It’s one of my most thoughtful songs in every way: from working with a singer, to sticking to a vision together with Hardstyle DNA and Norway in general.”

Now that Hardstyle DNA Outdoor has grown into a festival that continues to raise the bar, it feels even more important for Serzo to release ‘It’s In Your DNA’. “An anthem is something that sets the tone for the festival and gives you a feeling of connection.” Hardstyle DNA strongly supports the scene in this area and even wants to bring the Dutch festival experience to Norway: think of light, sound and pyro to give (for example the anthem a major show – specially for the thousands of visitors.

This experience becomes more and more extensive every year: this year the festival not only has a main stage with Aversion, Coone and Warface, among others, and a second stage with Dual Damage, Fraw and Manifest Destiny – which fulfills a wish for RAW/uptempo for many Scandinavians. The future for hardstyle in Scandinavia looks bright, just like for Serzo. “I’m enjoying the ride at the moment. I would like to bring my music to the attention of a wide audience and see more of the world through my music.” While the hardstyle world looks at Norway with increasing appreciation.

The Hardstyle DNA Outdoor Festival is scheduled for Friday 3 and Saturday 4 May 2024. The festival location is located in a summery spot just 15 minutes away from Oslo Central Station – easily accessible and offers the opportunity to stay in a hotel in the capital. Tickets are now available via the official website and the anthem can now be streamed everywhere via the well-known Dirty Workz channels. “We promise a show you have never seen in Norway, music of the highest quality, and a festival area that will make you forget all about your troubles.”
