Sub Zero Project raises the bar again with their new live-act Psychodelic. After the premiere at APEX, Reverze’s 20,000 visitors also witnessed a show that pushed the boundaries last night: “Those visuals and music are out of this world.”

Almost every year, Sub Zero Project unpacks their exclusive live acts (such as The Contagion, Rave Into Space and Renaissance of Rave) – but Psychodelic is definitely something else. A show on which the men have worked intensively for months with a whole team of professionals: the result is a spectacular showpiece and a gigantic mainstage that goes completely crazy in the sold-out Sportpaleis.

“This trip of musical resources goes around the world”

Last night it was showtime. The entire team of designers, animators, show technicians and photo & videographers of Sub Zero Project presented (after an enormous preparation) the astonishing result of Psychodelic. You can simply watch the enormous LED screens of the performance during Reverze for hours: it looks like an out-of-control space trip of the familiar painted faces, while tens of thousands of frenzied people are set off with tons of fireworks.

There is no doubt that this young duo has been one of the pioneers in Hardstyle for years. When you look around you on the dancefloor, you can see from the people that they too see something special on stage. The level of this performance is incredibly high, because both the show and the production of the music are top notch. Tracks like the new Defqon.1 anthem ‘Path of the Warrior’, ‘Conquer Your Mind’ and ‘LFG’ are made specifically for the live experience, and on such a big stage as Reverze they overwhelm you at every moment.

The reactions (on the dancefloor and online) are therefore full of praise for this trip of music. With an international angle (because tracks like ‘Animals’ and the well-known ‘Lose My Mind’ also come with a twist) Sub Zero Project could just be the Skrillex of Hardstyle.

Sub Zero Project shows top form with Psychodelic LIVE on Reverze: a pleasure for the ear and eye

It is a summary of huge steps that Sub Zero Project is currently making. Not only as anthem makers of the upcoming Defqon.1, but also on new grounds worldwide such as the Ultra Australia mainstage and the Hungarian Balaton Sound.
