Sven, 50% of Psyko Punkz, quits performing on stage

Wietse Amersfoort and Sven Sieperda, better known as Psyko Punkz, have rocked every (main)stage in the world of hardstyle for nine years now. The ‘After MF’s’ are part of the Dirty Workz family since 2008 and they belong to an illustrious list of hardstyle names which have reached the DJ Mag Top 100 (#78 in 2011, #67 in 2012).

Yesterday Sven announced in a video on their Facebook channel he is going to quit performing on gigs. He steps back from the stage to focus on production for Psyko Punkz and for his own. Wietse: “So, music-whise it’s going to be Psyko Punkz, and nothing is going to change that.”

At the Night-Party at Defqon.1 Festival this weekend Wietse will perform as Psyko Punkz a.k.a. The After Mother Fuckerz for the first time on his own. The last time the famous couple will combine their strengths will be Sunday from 14:30 (2:30 PM) till 15:15 (3:15 PM) on the UltraViolet stage at Defqon.1.
