The other half of Toneshifterz is bringing new music

At the end of 2013 Toneshifterz, which at that time still consisted of the Australian duo Elie Abwi & Olcay Ertek, revealed that they wouldn’t continue their career as a duo anymore.

The statement read that the split was the result of the lack of creative freedom and their desires to have a solo career. Luckily they parted as friends, something that isn’t always the case. Elie Abwi decided to continue under the Toneshifterz alias, and we quickly stopped hearing anything from Olcay.

“They would like to Inform you that the Toneshifterz have Decided to go their separate ways which will have some impact on the act. Elie will Continue onwards with Toneshifterz as a solo act, and Olcay will begin to focus on his own career.”

Until now! Because Olcay posted a statement on his personal Facebook page saying that he’s currently working on new Hardstyle tracks, and even has a few finished ones. Will we see a new alias rising soon? Let’s hope we can hear this new music somewhere in the near future.
