Toneshifterz embarks on a new journey
It has been quiet around Toneshiterz lately. Toneshifterz used to consist of two members. Elie Abwi & Olcay Ertek. The duo moved to the Netherlands in 2011 to pursue their dreams. They performed at the Q-Dance presents Fusion Party in the Heineken Music Hall for 5000 people. From that moment on, they gained popularity.
Unfortunately Elie had to move back to Australia because of some health problems. After that, they broke up because of some personal reasons. Elie continued the act Toneshifterz en Olcay started a solo career. The two are still good friends. Toneshifterz is responsible for the Defqon.1 Festival 2016 Australia Anthem together with Audiofreq and Code Black. Elie is ready for a new journey after Defqon.1 Australia.
Elie (Toneshifterz) leaves Australia and moves to the Netherlands. There he will join the hardstyle scene once more. The Aussie says that Hardstyle became a part of him and that he want to pursue his dream and push new boundaries. Elie is excited to move to the Netherlands, but he will miss Australia: ”I’m saddened to leave AUS and the scene here! But its time to finish what I started and to return to do what I do best.”
