It has just been announced visitors of AIRFORCE don’t have to worry about a thing: the festival will still take place! After uncertainty about the future of events at the former airbase Twenthe, it has been revealed this edition will definitely take place.

Earlier this week, the State Council concluded plans for events at the former airbase Twenthe – also the location of the well-known AIRFORCE Festival – could no longer continue. This because the plans would result in too high emissions of nitrogen. However, the organisation of the festival has just announced they have all of the licences for this edition, and construction has already started.

“We are also following the developments with great interest, and want to find out the consequences it has on the future. For this year however, we have all the right licences and research done. We can therefore announce AIRFORCE Festival 2019 – Destined to Diverge | Official event will take place; construction has already started.”

“AIRFORCE FESTIVAL WILL TAKE PLACE!”

AIRFORCE Festival 2019 – Destined to Diverge will return tot the former airbase in Enschede in the weekend of the 3rd of August. Tickets are still available via the official website of the event, on which you’ll also find more information.
