It has just been announced all mass events in Belgium are forbidden until the end of August. Unfortunately this also means The Qontinent, the biggest harder styles festival in Belgium, won’t be bringing its 13th edition ‘Breaking Boundaries’ to Wachtebeke this year.

Belgium festival The Qontinent is known for its amazing atmosphere, superb stages and loads of entertainment – during which you get to enjoy hardstyle, rawstyle, freestyle, tek and hardcore for an entire weekend. Unfortunately it has just been announced the weekend festival had to be cancelled due to prolonged measures to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

“Today, as part of the measures to combat COVID-19, the Belgian government has banned all festivals in Belgium till 31 August 2020. Unfortunately, this means that The Qontinent cannot continue this year and we are incredibly sorry for that! We understand that this will be a great disappointment for you too. We will have to postpone our festival for a year, to the weekend of 13, 14 and August 15, 2021. One thing is certain: ‘we will break all boundaries’ to make up for this lost summer!”

The Qontinent 2020 – Breaking Boundaries cancelled: loads of Belgian festivals move to 2021 due to coronavirus

The Qontinent – Breaking Boundaries has been moved to the 13th, 14th en 15th of August 2021. Ticket holders will receive an email with more details recarding the new date and the voucher arrangements. You will be able to redeem this voucher in 2021 or even 2022.
