“In our opinion, Defqon.1 2022 was the best edition ever”, says Jonas Schmidt (Creative Director at Q-dance) about the biggest festival in the scene. “We are very proud and grateful that this succeeded after three long years. The addition of the fourth day has exceeded all our expectations; it gave people more time to explore the world of Defqon.1.”

Visitors thoroughly enjoyed themselves and there was a lot to do: with more than 300 artists on the timetable and many more activities such as the Warrior Workout. “In the end, everything we came up with worked out almost perfectly, from established moments like POWER HOUR and The Endshow to new show moments and other experiments that immediately attracted thousands of visitors. Everywhere I went, I saw happy visitors and the atmosphere was everywhere on the site. That’s why closed the festival with ‘This Is Who We Are’, we showed again who we are and what we stand for as a scene this weekend.”

“4 days of madness, 1 legendary tribe. Thank you for your everlasting dedication. This was Defqon.1 Primal Energy!”

The Closing Ceremony with Headhunterz, Wildstylez and Noisecontrollers, or Peacock in Concert in a fully loaded BLACK… It truly was 4 days of madness. What was your favorite moment from the past Defqon.1 weekend?
