Wavolizer stopt met Hardstyle en focust op Hardcore
De mensen die van Wavolizer houden weten dat hij nooit iets ‘gewoons’ produceert. Buiten de hokjes denken is wat hij het liefst eet als ontbijt, lunch en diner. Gisteren maakte hij een grote aankondiging over z’n toekomst als artiest.
“As you might have known, I have been releasing on Theracords for the past 5 years. I have done a lot of different stuff, many critics would probably say I’m not making Hardstyle. I’ve asked myself that very same question. You can say that it’s Hardcore with Hardstyle elements in a way. So why would it make sense to keep going on and labeling it as Hardstyle?”
Wavolizer moest zichzelf soms herinneren aan het feit dat hij nog steeds Hardstyle maakte, dus moest hij zichzelf soms limiteren, ook al is hij nooit een voorstander geweest van het denken in hokjes.
Wat betekent dit?
Dit betekent dat Wavolizer weg zal gaan van de Hardstyle, weg zal gaan van Theracords en zich zal focussen op Hardcore. Hij zal nog steeds hard spul maken, maar het enige verschil is dat het nu nog wat harder wordt. Op dit moment heeft hij al goede gesprekken gehad met andere labels, maar daar kan hij helaas nog niet teveel over zeggen.

Wavolizer sometimes had to remind himself that he was still making ‘Hardstyle’, so he had to limit himself even though he’s all for the ’thinking outside the box’.
What does this mean?
It means that Wavolizer will move out of Hardstyle, move out of Theracords and focus on Hardcore. He will still make punchy stuff, the only difference is that it’s now a bit more hard. He has had some good talks with other labels, but unfortunately he can’t share too much yet.
