Hardstyle Awards presents prizes for best festival and indoor event
The polls for the Hardstyle Awards 2023 will open on the 1st of December. It’s almost time to vote for your favourite artist, track, album, and more. Hardstyle enthusiasts will see two new awards among the list of categories: ‘Best Outdoor Festival’ and ‘Best Indoor Event’. Why were these categories chosen, and why can you no longer vote for ‘Best Liveset’?

Last year, participants could vote in the ‘Best Liveset’ category during the Hardstyle Awards. Rooler and Sickmode took victory with their impressive set as THE GANG at REBiRTH Festival. For the Hardstyle Awards 2023, Hard News and Hardstyle.com took a critical look at the categories and decided to change the approach.
For the ‘Best Liveset’ category, the nominees were selected last year based on the number of views on YouTube. However, not every liveset is available online or accessible to everyone to stream. For this reason, the category has been replaced by two new categories: ‘Best Festival’ and ‘Best Indoor Event’.
Best Outdoor Festival
Where did you have the most fun last summer at a festival? Which venue hosted the best live sets in your opinion? Where did you experience the most enjoyable atmosphere? And which festival do you think had the most appealing decoration? These are all factors that you can take into account to determine your vote for ‘Best Outdoor Festival’.
This category includes all festivals that have at least one stage where the focus is entirely on hardstyle. The festival must also have at least one stage that is completely outdoors.
Best Indoor Event
Which indoor event is at the top of your list? Whether you pay attention to the atmosphere during the sets, the artists on the line-up, the light show or the sound in the room – we are looking for the event that you think deserves the title of ‘Best Indoor Event’. Indoor events that are completely oriented to hardstyle fall into this category. This concerns events between December 1, 2022 and November 30, 2023.

Voting for the Hardstyle Awards 2023 starts at December 1, 2023 at Hardstyle-awards.com. This year, the prizes will be awarded in the following categories:
- Best Artist
- Best Track
- Best Album
- Best Label
- Best Outdoor Festival
- Best Indoor Event
- Most Promising Artist by XXL Nutrition
