Good news for Defqon.1, because Q-dance and Walibi Holland have just announced that they will continue the collaboration. Also for the next 10 years the biggest harder styles festival in the world will take place at The Holy Grounds.

The very first Defqon.1 edition was held in 2003 at the Almeerderstrand. In 2011, the festival moved to the well-known Walibi Holland site, where it grew into a weekend festival with camping and more than 95,000 visitors from all over the world. “We are extremely pleased that we have been able to extend the collaboration with Walibi,” says Sander Bijlstra, Managing Director of Q-dance.

Defqon.1 is bigger than ever due to the most recent expansion this year. “With the approval of the fourth day this year and this expression of mutual trust, nothing stands in the way of our continued growth in the coming years. We can’t wait to finally get together with our fans again this summer on the beautiful Walibi site.” Walibi Holland also says it is proud of the partnership with Q-dance.

‘Walibi’s event site is more than ready for Defqon.1 for the next 10 years’

Defqon.1 will take place this summer from Thursday 23 June to Sunday 26 June. There are still a few tickets available for the Friday and Sunday of the festival: check out the official website for more info.
