A Nightmare In Rotterdam celebrates its 30th anniversary with a historical comeback

The iconic A Nightmare In Rotterdam returns after many years. Organization B2S and founder Paul Elstak join forces especially for the anniversary and breathe new life into the well-known hardcore concept: with the greatest legends from the oldschool and the sound of the future in two areas. “The mother of all Hardcore raves is back.”

A Nightmare In Rotterdam was first held in 1993 in the legendary Energiehal. Hardcore fans from all corners of the world came to this special event: this was one of the first larger parties ever where hardcore was played and gabbers could rave together. A Nightmare In Rotterdam also has enormous prestige in the field of anthems, such as ‘From Cradle to Grave’ and ‘When Angels Cry’. Tracks that are still played today.

A Nightmare In Rotterdam will make a comeback especially for its 30th anniversary this autumn. The past, present and future are all featured here with artists who have more than earned their stripes. In addition, Neophyte, Partyraiser and Paul Elstak present their Nightmare: an exclusive live set with their vision of the past and present of hardcore.

The second area has been renamed The Hall of Legends: a tribute to the past three decades. Including Endymion: 25 Years LIVE, The Viper and Tommyknocker. Check out the full A Nightmare In Rotterdam 2023 line-up below.
