Sefa’s musical life still goes faster than the number of BPM with which he closes his sets. Last Defqon.1, the only 22-year-old stood for his greatest performance ever, and his preparations were followed for months. It led to a musical spectacle at the biggest festival in our scene and the result is a must see for every enthusiast.

“Half a year of blood, sweat and tears for one single show”

The premiere of the documentary has even been on the big screen in Dutch and German cinemas. Now fans don’t have to wait any longer – both the documentary and the Opening Ceremony set will be put online. Also, Sefa hints to Hard News that he has a new release planned: the OST will be released soon with brand new tracks.

Last week, the young Dutchman was nominated for the Edison Dance Award: a prestigious prize that is compared to the Dutch version of the GRAMMYs. A harder styles artist has never been considered for this before.

Nominee Sefa reaches unprecedented heights: Road To Defqon.1 can be seen for free for everyone

The Opening Ceremony: This is Sefa can be watched for free on Sefa’s YouTube channel from Wednesday 15 February. DEDIQATED members can watch it on Q-dance Network from today (Tuesday 14 February) at 17:00. It is not yet known when the new music will be released.
