Q-dance: “Defqon.1, Dominator en The Qontinent gaan vooralsnog door”

Zojuist heeft Q-dance een update naar buiten gebracht omtrent het coronavirus. Zoals bekend zijn de festivals t/m 1 juni afgelast of uitgesteld, zoals QAPITAL en X-Qlusive Phuture Noize en staan o.a. Defqon.1, Dominator en The Qontinent nog op de planning. “We vinden het belangrijk om fans op de hoogte te houden in deze onzekere tijden.”

Allereerst is er een nieuwe datum gevonden voor X-Qlusive Phuture Noize, namelijk op zaterdag 12 september in de AFAS Live. De aangeschafte tickets zijn hiermee automatisch geldig voor de aankomende editie. Ook QAPITAL heeft een nieuwe datum gekregen, namelijk op zaterdag 3 april 2021, een jaar later dus. “Ook al voelt deze datum ver weg, is het wel een datum waar we met vertrouwen naar uit kunnen kijken!”

Defqon.1 Weekend Festival, Dominator Festival en The Qontinent vallen vooralsnog buiten de maatregelen die de Nederlandse en Belgische regeringen hebben getroffen. “Tot nu toe zijn alle evenementen in Nederland tot eind mei afgelast. Dit betekent dat Defqon.1, Dominator en The Qontinent nog steeds doorgaan zoals gepland. We verwachten, en hopen, dat zowel de Nederlandse en Belgische overheid eind april meer duidelijkheid over de zomer zullen geven.”

IMPAQT zal dit jaar niet doorgaan

Door de onzekere situatie die het coronavirus heeft gecreëerd, heeft Q-dance wel een streep moeten zetten door de aankomende editie van IMPAQT, dat begin september zou plaatsvinden. Vorig jaar kwamen hier nog 20.000 bezoekers, verdeeld over 6 verschillende stages, maar het risico is simpelweg te groot om dit nog door te laten gaan. “We hopen dat jullie deze beslissing begrijpen.”

De afgelopen weekenden verzorgde Q-dance verschillende livestreams genaamd QONNECT. Deze zullen de komende tijd blijven plaatsvinden, om het beste van deze lockdown situatie te maken. “Er komen nieuwe QONNECT events aan, waar we binnenkort meer over zullen vertellen.” Bovendien komt er ook nog een speciale online X-Qlusive Phuture Noize aan.

Q-dance events update – April 7th, 2020 Dear Q-dancers, In these uncertain times, it is import for us to keep our fans informed properly. Therefore, we’re providing you with this update regarding our events for the foreseeable future. Please keep in mind that nothing is set in stone due to the constantly changing situation surrounding COVID-19 and the measures taken by the Dutch government. X-Qlusive Phuture Noize Phuture Noize fans, we have good news for you. A new date for X-Qlusive Phuture Noize has been confirmed: Saturday September 12th. The venue (AFAS Live) has stayed the same. Everyone who has purchased a ticket for X-Qlusive Phuture Noize will automatically have access to the event on September 12th. We’re also working on a special online X-Qlusive Phuture Noize show, more information about that will be available later. QAPITAL The Alpha State We have also found a new date for QAPITAL The Alpha State. Contrary to our previous communication, we are happy to announce that QAPITAL The Alpha state will take place on Saturday April 3rd, 2021. While this date might feel far away, it is a date we can look forward to with confidence! Defqon.1 Weekend Festival, Dominator Festival and The Qontinent As for now, all events in The Netherlands scheduled to take place until the end of May are called off. This means that Defqon.1, Dominator and The Qontinent are still taking place as scheduled. We expect, and hope, that both the Dutch and Belgian government will provide clarity concerning the summer before the end of April. IMPAQT Last year, we organized the first edition of IMPAQT. With over 20.000 visitors and six stages filled with the biggest names, it was an unforgettable debut of our new festival concept at Airport Weeze. Unfortunately, there won’t be another edition of IMPAQT this year. Due to the global COVID-19 situation and the uncertain future of festivals this summer, it simply is too big of a risk for us to be setting up a new edition of a festival in a foreign country.
