Since recently we can listen and stream the new track ‘Say My Name’ of Headhunterz. The release of this track came pretty fast after it was premiered at this years edition of Qlimax, but now it appears that there’s a subtle message behind the track regarding the DJ Mag Top 100.

The latest track of Headhunterz was released yesterday. Earlier that day he announced his latest track on his Instagram. “Let the music speak for itself… Out today on Art of Creation”, wrote Willem. “This dramatization is inspired by true events.” With this quote, Headhunterz refers to the quarrel between him, Radical Redemption and Angerfist which took place during the DJ Mag Top 100 2018. When the results were made public, Headhunterz noticed the duo congratulated all the harder styles DJ’s except himself.

“One of my biggest examples of an artist who has stayed true to his fans and sound”, responded Headhunterz on Angerfist’s tweet. “I look up to this man. But it is sad to see he apparently has his reason not to congratulate me.” With the release of ‘Say My Name’, Willem is coming back to this moment. It seems to be confirmed by the artwork of the track, because in the middle of this image the words “No hard feelings” are visible in the Art of Creation alphabet.

Headhunterz comes back on DJ Mag Top 100 issue: “If it’s up to me, we’re all in this together. But if you’re taking a different direction, allow me to get inspired”

The release of this track took place very fast after is was played for the first time. Sound Rush premiered the track during Qlimax 2018. The words “redemption” and “anger” are common in the lyrics of this new possible disstrack. He probably refers to his colleague artists with these words.
