Dijck Dessens, now better known as Vexxed, made his debut on stage in 2022 and has been making big steps since then. “After spending multiple years in the studio, I sent my first track to multiple producers, after which I came in contact with the APEX team,” says Vexxed. “From that moment, on we worked together towards a common goal: joining the label.”

The label of Cryex, Scarra, Vasto, Kenai and MC Synergy came across Vexxed. The 24-year-old has now impressed at festivals such as Defqon.1, Intents and Decibel outdoor, received praise for his ‘Faded’ remix and also sings his own vocals. Last weekend the time had finally come: Vexxed was announced as the newest member during the APEX Brotherhood set at REBiRTH Festival and is soon releasing new music.

Vexxed new at APEX: “With my first release at APEX I wanted to do something that is unique and true to myself”

Vexxed’s first solo release on the APEX label has now been planned, he says proudly. “During the last year I worked hard on improving my singing and screaming technique, so that I’d be able to convey my emotions better into a track. With the track ‘Part Of Me’, I aimed to create an energetic track that really captures the Vexxed sound.”

‘Part Of Me’ by Vexxed will be released on Friday April 26 on APEX Records – you can pre-save it now. This summer, Vexxed will be playing at Trinity, Intents, Defqon.1, Dominator and many more festivals.
